Tonight social media juggernaut TikTok is in danger after the 1) ______ threatens to shut it down. President Trump’s telling reporters on Air Force One: “As far as TikTok is concerned, we're 2) ______ it from the United States” setting 3) ______ ______ concerns with the Chinese-owned company. A source directly familiar with the talks confirms to NBC news that a deal to sell TikTok's U.S. operations to a 4) ______ business, most likely Microsoft, is on President Trump's desk.
TikTok has awkwardly 5) ______ its way into becoming a cultural trendsetter with more than 800 million worldwide 6) ______, 100 million in the US alone.

 Overnight TikTokers are reacting including big stars who earned a 7) ______ from monetizing the platform. Congress first raised concerns about security on the platform last fall.

The targeting of largely Democrat politicians, like presidential 11) ______ Joe Biden, has raised the spectre of the sort of meddling that plagued the 2016 U.S election.
