II Vocabulary focus. Study the words and  word combinations, check your understanding using flashcards, practise their translationspelling. Check your knowledge in the test. Play matching vocabulary game (match words to their translations to make cards disappear)  and save the planet from asteroids by typing in correct translation of the words.

III Watch the video and fill in the gaps in the text with the words from the list. There are some words you don’t need to use.

IV Watch the video and choose the correct option to complete the sentences.

Second, raising insects is cheaply/creep/cheap, or free. Little technology or investment/investor/investigate is needed to produce them. Harvesting insects could provide livelihoods to some of the world’s poorly/poorest/poring people. Finally, insects are a far more sustainable resourceful/source/force of food than livestock. Livestock production accounts for nearly a fifth of all greenhouse-gas missions/emissions/transmissions – that’s more than transport.
By contrast, insects produce relatively few greenhouse/hothouse/pause gases, and raising them requires much less rent/landing/land and water. And they'll eat almost anything. Despite all this, most Westerners find insects hard to follow/swallow/shallow. One solution is to use protein extracted/extravagant/distracted from bugs in other products, such as ready meals and pasta pause/sauces/saucy. Not having to look at the bugs, and emphasizing the environmentalist/environmental/environmentally benefits, might make the idea of eating insects a bit more palpably/palatable/stable.

V Watch the complete video again. In the script (see the texts above) underline the words and phrases that are stressed. Listen again and then read the text aloud following the pattern of strong and weak stress. Try to copy the rhythm as exactly as possible.

VI Get ready to create your voiceover of the video (read the text with the natural rhythm and speed). Make sure your reading speed matches the video sequence. You may record your reading and listen to it in order to improve the speed and accuracy (stress, rhythm, pronunciation). In class the video will be shown with sound turned off, you’ll provide the voiceover (read the text instead of the journalist).
