two minutes to write down your associations with the words ‘food’ and ‘painting’.
Work in pairs and compare your lists. What are the similarities and differences
in your lists?

What types of food do you often see when you
visit a museum? Do you know any famous paintings of food?

Picture description. Look at the paintings (A-J) below. Every
painting shows food. Use the words in the list to describe what food you can
see in each painting. You can add your own food words to the list.
